Biography
Dr Joe Hurley is Deputy Dean - Sustainability and Urban Planning (acting) at RMIT University, and a member of the Centre for Urban Research.Dr Joe Hurley is Deputy Dean - Sustainability and Urban Planning (acting) at RMIT University, and a member of the Centre for Urban Research. His research focuses on urban sustainability, urban planning governance and systems, and historical urban analysis. He is deputy leader, Urban Systems theme, in the Clean Air and Urban Landscapes Hub, an $8.8 million dollar program of research under the National Environmental Science program. In 2016, he received the RMIT School of Global, Urban and Social Studies Research Excellence Award.
