Biography
"Associate Professor, Kathy Douglas is Deputy Head, Learning and Teaching in the Graduate School of Business and Law, RMIT University. She researches and teaches about conflict and Dispute Resolution.Dr Kathy Douglas is Deputy Head, Learning and Teaching in the Graduate School of Business and Law. In this role she has improved teaching in both the online and face to face environments in the school. She teaches in the Juris Doctor at RMIT University as well as in Commercial Law. Kathy has received many learning and teaching grants from RMIT to research and develop innovative teaching practices. Kathy researches in the area of conflict, mediation and tertiary education. She has received grants from the Legal Services Board Victoria and the Australasian Institute for Judicial Administration to research dispute resolution practice. She is presently researching the place of ADR in legal education, the role of lawyers in mediation, conflict in planning and owners corporations and the use of blended learning in tertiary education."
