Biography
"Wendy Steele is an Associate Professor in Sustainability and Urban Planning co-located in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies (GUSS) and the Centre for Urban Research (CUR) at RMIT University, Melbourne.Wendy Steele is the Program Manager of the Master of Urban Planning and Environment within the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies. Wendy is an Australian Research Council DECRA (2013-2015) and Discovery (2015-2017) grant award recipient and international board member for the journal Urban Policy and Research. She is also the co-convenor of the Critical Urban Governance Program within the Centre for Urban Research with Libby Porter, Crystal Legacy and Joe Hurley. Her current research focuses on the governance and planning of cities in a climate of change with an emphasis on climate justice/security, critical urban infrastructure and cyborg/smart cities."
