Biography
Russell Jacobson is General Manager of Sanofi Pasteur Australia and New Zealand. Russell has had more than 25 years’ experience in the pharma / vaccines industry, firstly starting as a sales representative on the Gold Coast before moving into sales management then marketing. He has worked in many diverse therapy areas, such as diabetes, HRT, oncology, anaesthetics, infectious diseases and vaccines. Russel joined Pasteur 15 years ago when the vaccines business was still in start-up phase and was responsible for setting up the marketing department. The business has continually grown starting from around a $2 million sales business with five people to be now pushing $77 million and more than 40 staff.
