Yasmin Allen

Biography

  BCom FAICD Independent non-executive Director since 22 October 2014. The Chair of the People and Remuneration Committee and member of the Audit and Risk Committee and Nomination Committee.  Ms Allen has more than 20 years' experience in finance and investment banking, including senior roles at Deutsche Bank AG, ANZ and HSBC Group Plc. She is a Director of Cochlear Limited, chairs its Audit Committee and is a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. She is also a Director of the National Portrait Gallery and in February 2015 Ms Allen was appointed non-executive Director of the Board of ASX Limited. She is a member of the George Institute for Global Health Board and was appointed a member of the Australian Government Takeovers Panel on 23 March 2017.  Ms Allen was a former non-executive Director of Insurance Australia Group Limited and a former national Director and acting Chair of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
