Biography
Christopher David Wilks, also known as Chris, B.Comm (Univ Melb)., FAICD, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director of Sonic Healthcare Limited since 1993 & 1992. Mr. Wilks has been an Executive Director of Sonic Healthcare Limited since December 5, 1989. He served as Joint Company Secretary of Silex Systems Ltd., until September 2007 and served as its Corporate Executive Director from 1988 to June 28, 2011, where he was responsible for its financial oversight and Corporate Development. He has a background in chartered accounting and investment banking. He was a Partner in a private merchant bank. He served a number of directorial positions with Australian public companies and has a background in investment banking. Mr. Wilks has been a Non-Executive Director Independent Practitioner Network Pty Limited since August 1, 2005. He serves as Director at Sonic Healthcare USA, Inc.
