Biography
Andrew MacIsaac is the Director of Cardiology at St Vincent’s hospital, an Association Professor in the University of Melbourne’s Department of Medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and Adjunction Professor of Medicine at Australian Catholic University. He is the current President of the Cardiac society of Australia and New Zealand. He undertook Cardiology training at St Vincent’s and Prince Henry’s Hospitals then undertook Fellowships in Interventional Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland , Ohio, USA and then Stanford University Medical Centre, California. His clinical interests include management of acute cardiac conditions, Interventional cardiology and valvular heart disease. He has active research interests in coronary, pulmonary vascular physiology and indigenous health.
