Biography
Mr. Lawson is a geologist with more than 12 years of experience spanning several countries and commodity types and he has held various senior positions with several very successful small/mid-cap producers. He has a strong background in defining and modelling structurally complex narrow-vein gold deposits and is a specialist in reviving “old” deposits through aggressive drill strategies and technical team development. Mr. Lawson was responsible for tripling the reserve/resource of Daisy-Milano mine for Silver Lake Resources, and for taking Northern Star Resources Paulsens Gold Mine from a 6-month mine life to over 5 years, both after less than 12 months of employment. Mr. Lawson has a BSc and an MSc in Geology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM), and is a Competent Person for both JORC and NI-43-101 reporting purposes.
