Biography
Clin A/Prof Duncan Stanford graduated from the University of Sydney in 1991 with MBBS and graduated from the University of NSW in 1997 with MSc(Med). He undertook his dermatology specialist training at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Royal Newcastle Hospital, Westmead Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital, as well as, the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia. He became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2000. He then undertook a Fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and laser surgery at the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia at Westmead in 2001. Currently Duncan has a general and procedural dermatology practice in Kiama on the South Coast of NSW and performs Mohs micrographic surgery and laser procedures at the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia, Westmead. Duncan is currently the Chief Examiner of the National Board of Examiners of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He was recently an Assistant Editor of the Australasian Journal of Dermatology. He is a co-author of a new textbook on Dermatologic Surgery and became an Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine in 2014.
