Tasman Lipscombe

Biography

 Dr Tasman Lipscombe graduated medicine in 1990 with an MBBS from Adelaide University. After 3 years of hospital rotations as an intern and a general resident, he commenced Dermatology training. This included a 1 year rotation in England where he worked in Speciality Dermatology Clinics in Oxford and Amersham. After 6 years of rigorous postgraduate training he was awarded a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Following Fellowship he pursued his interest in skin cancer and surgery with further training in these fields. In 2000 he completed an Advanced Skin Surgery Fellowship in Sydney, qualifying him to perform Mohs surgery, skin cancer surgery and complex repairs including flaps and grafts. For the following 7 years he worked with the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia in Sydney as a Consultant Surgeon specializing in Mohs surgery and skin cancer surgery. Dr Lipscombe has since concentrated on providing a quality service to his patients and referring medical practitioners in his private practice. Over the last 12 years he has successfully performed thousands of skin cancer treatments and has established a reputation as a leading specialist in the field. Dr Lipscombe now consults and performs surgery in his private rooms in Castlereagh Street Sydney and at the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia in Darlinghurst.
