Bernie Simai

Biography

 Bernie has run his own practice since 1991, and, following the sale of the Mt Waverley practice in August 2011, decided on a name change for the Caulfield practice – now known as The Joint Physiotherapy. He spent six years with AFL clubs (Melbourne and Richmond) and has travelled extensively with state and national representative teams, and was team physio for the South Dragons in the NBL. He looks after the Australian men’s softball team and has accompanied the team to many tournaments including to the world titles in New Zealand in 2008 & 2013 and Canada in 2009 & 2015. He has worked for many years with the State 2 North Caulfield soccer team. He enjoys accurately diagnosing and successfully treating the more challenging problems that others have missed or misdiagnosed. Bernie is very selective in appointing new staff and spends time mentoring and teaching each one. This ensures that diagnostics are accurate and treatment targeted and effective.
