Biography
Dr Swift completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and progressed through the RANZCOG training program completing his final year as a Fellow in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne in 1999. He has been in private and public O&G practice since 2000 as a general Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with particular interests in Reproductive Medicine, IVF and Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery, especially for endometriosis. He was a founding partner in the Queensland Fertility Group Gold Coast Unit in 2001. Dr Swift Completed his Masters in Reproductive Medicine in 2011-12 through the UNSW. He is currently a Senior VMO at the new Gold Coast University Hospital supervising and teaching medical students, RMOs, and Registrars at all levels. As an accredited Level 6 Laparoscopic Surgeon, he supervises and teaches AGES trainees at the Gold Coast facility. He was President of the Gold Coast Local Medical Association in 2013 and 2014 and has actively been involved with NASOG for many years, previously as Treasurer and Vice President.
