Biography
Dr. Lopes is currently in private practice in south eastern suburban Melbourne, where he practices both obstetrics and gynaecology, with an interest in general gynaecological laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy, and contraceptive health. He graduated from Monash University and commenced his basic training at Monash Medical Centre before continuing with advanced training in Queensland and overseas in the United Kingdom. He has a public appointment to Monash Health where he is currently attached to the Contraceptive Counselling Clinic. He is currently the secretary for the Southern Subdivision of the AMA, and is also involved in Rotary Australia. He is married with two very rambunctious young boys.
