Biography
Dr Lane has been a specialist for more than 14 years. He graduated from Adelaide University and did further training in England. He began private practice in 2001 and established his practice at Adelaide Obstetrics in 2010. His practice includes the management of all aspects of fertility, from evaluation to treatment of men and women. Dr Lane’s expertise encompasses the management of general gynaecological conditions and all aspects of obstetrics care, including high-risk pregnancies. Dr Lane has extensive experience using genetic screening (CGH) with IVF patients, particularly in females aged over 40, to maximise their chance of pregnancy. He has a special clinical interest and expertise in reproductive medicine, endometriosis, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts and abnormal menstrual bleeding. Dr Lane is also the Visiting Gynaecologist at Clare Hospital once a month, and he is currently studying a Masters in Reproductive Medicine. He was also the State AMA Councillor for Obstetrics and Gynaecology from 2008-2015.
