Biography
Dr Tai Phan is a highly qualified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. He has a special interest in the surgical treatment of facial skin cancers, and laser treatment of facial vascular lesions and photoageing.Dr Phan grew up in Sydney, completing his undergraduate medical degree with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2000. Dr Phan pursued his interest in dermatology and skin cancer through obtaining his Master of Public Health at the University of NSW in 2005, and Master of Medicine (Dermatology) at the University of Sydney in 2006. His research has been published in international medical journals, notably his work identifying the specific UV wavelengths causing the most immunosuppression which predisposes humans to skin cancer. Dr Phan completed his third Master degree, Master of Health Management, at the University of NSW in 2012.
