Biography
Graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Miami College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Hernandez-Popp went on to obtain her Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Miami, School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship and her Anesthesiology Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Hernandez-Popp completed a Pain Management Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. She was in practice and a faculty member at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation prior to returning to South Florida. While at CCF she did clinical research and had published articles in medical journals. Dr. Hernandez-Popp is Board Certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. She is also Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with a Subspecialty Certification in Pain Management
