Research Interest
As a member of the Centre for Asian and Middle Eastern Architecture (CAMEA) I am involved in the historiography of Post-Colonial Architecture in South and South East Asia, with special focus on the socio-political condition generated by the intersection of de-colonizing and nationalist policies. My work also deals with issues of Human Rights and Social Ethics within the extended field of architecture. In addition to this, my long standing intellectual pursuit engages the works of Martin Heidegger and Bruno Latour to discuss the problems of Materiality as confounded by the subject-object dichotomy.
