Biography
Dr Ha is involved in several research activities in ARCPOH. She is currently responsible for annual report of Child Dental Health Survey, the annual national oral health surveillance for children attending School Dental Service in Australia which is funded by Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. She is overall responsible for data management, analysis and reporting data. Dr Ha is investigator of research projects funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council: the National Child Oral Health Study and the Study of Mothers’ and Infants’ Life Events affecting Oral Health (SMILE). She also manages, analyses data for a of research projects funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council: Silver fluoride Dr Ha involve in the Early Childhood Development Project, which is led by Prof John Lynch of the University of Adelaide. She is team member and is responsible for dental component in this data linkage project. Conduct examiner training for the National Child Oral Health Study, SMILE. Dr Ha is also involved in Caries Risk Assessment project to develop a model of standardised caries risk assessment among all School Dental Clinicians in South Australia and evaluate the efficacy of the project. She is responsible for study design, data management, data analysis and writing up a report.
