Research Interest
I am interested in a broad range of research topics and activities...These include mechanics of structures, computational mechanics, numerical modelling (finite and boundary element methods), masonry materials and structural behaviour, concrete material and structures, and earthquake risk assessment and protection of masonry and concrete buildings. A PhD scholarship will become available soon on this project. Interested applicants, please email me for further information... Ideally, the prospective student should have good knowledge of dynamic loadingand finite element modelling (FEM) of structures. This ad will be removed once the student has been recruited (position not filled yet as of 21 Nov 2017).
