Biography
Dr Lynn Ward Senior Lecturer, School of Psychology Positive Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology I am interested in factors that influence adult development and ageing. I have used both qualitative and quantitative methods to study psychosocial development in midlife and older adults. Specific interests include: â—¾Age-related changes in cognitive functioning, both normal and dementia related; â—¾The impact of lifestyle choices and health habits on cognitive functioning and psychosocial well-being in older adults; â—¾Resilience, emotional functioning in parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder â—¾Resilience and successful ageing; â—¾Cross-cultural issues in ageing.
