Biography
Mr Sergio Chrisopoulos is currently a Research Associate at the Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health (ARCPOH) at the University of Adelaide. Sergio previously worked at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare in the Labour Force and Rural Health Unit where he was involved in the analysis and reporting of the medical and nursing labour force surveys. He then joined the Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health where he was involved in the dental labour force collections, contributing to the 2003 and 2005 dental labour force reports, and dental labour force supply and demand for dental service projections. He subsequently spent some time in the UK working as an analyst for an Infection Control team in an NHS Trust and as a Public Health Analyst for both the South East Public Health Observatory and the National Obesity Observatory. He has worked on national health labour force surveys as well as health surveys and administrative datasets. His current interests include health service utilisation, labour force modelling, and workplace stress/job satisfaction. He currently provides analytical support on projects such as the National Dental Telephone Interview Survey, the National Child Oral Health Survey and dental service use.
