Biography
I am an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Adelaide, Australia. My research interests include: high performance permanent magnet and reluctance electrical machines and drives, energy storage applications in power systems and condition monitoring of electrical machines. Education Ph.D. University of Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom (Sep. 1990 - Oct. 1993). Title : "Design and Modelling of Axially-Laminated Interior Permanent Magnet Motors for Field-Weakening Applications". B.Eng. (Hons). University of Adelaide, Adelaide, Australia (Mar 1986 - Dec 1989). First class honours.
