Biography
Dr. Michael Grimm is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Medicine, The University of Newsouth Wales , Australia. His research interests includes immunopathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease; novel therapeutic strategies in inflammatory bowel disease; mucosal immunity and lymphocyte trafficking; regulatory T lymphocytes and other mechanisms controlling gastrointestinal immunity; the role of the appendix in gut immunity and IBD;clinical, psychological, physiological and microbial predictors of IBD relapse. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Michael Grimm is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to immunopathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease; novel therapeutic strategies in inflammatory bowel disease; mucosal immunity and lymphocyte trafficking; regulatory T lymphocytes and other mechanisms controlling gastrointestinal immunity; the role of the appendix in gut immunity and IBD;clinical, psychological, physiological and microbial predictors of IBD relapse.
