Biography
After completing my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at CQUniversity, I commenced a full-time lecturing position in Exercise and Sport Sciences in 2011. I have a strong passion for exercise and sport in general, which I bring to teaching and researching in these areas. I enjoy playing and watching most sports, especially team sports. The team sport environment interests me greatly and is something I have been involved with for most of my life. As a result, much of my research is directed towards aspects of team sport training and performance, particularly applied to basketball. Further, I am an accredited Sport Scientist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia. The warm and tropical climate as well as the strong sporting culture are two of the major benefits of being located in the Central Queensland region. In my spare time, I practice what I preach and actively exercise and play basketball. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to music festivals, and attending live sport. I value the bright, vibrant, enthusiastic colleagues and students I get to interact with on a daily basis, as well as the many opportunities I get to meet new people from di
