Biography
Asif Yaseen is a postdoctoral research fellow at the ARC- Industry Transformation Training Centre, The University of Queensland, Australia. He recieved a PhD in Agribusiness from University of Queensland in Feb 2015. His PhD research demonstarted how collaborative innovation can be practiced in food industry. He earned his master degree in ICT entrepreneruship from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm), Sweden. His major research interests are Entrepreneurship and innovation in Agri-food sectors and developing intelligent agri-food value chains. Currently, he is driven to explore the possibility of combining Consumer Sensory Neuroscience and Agri-food Marketing to developing a sensory neuroscience based brand communication program for food products. Asif has 12 years university teaching experience in Pakistan and Australia. He has recieved awards for teaching in Pakistan. Prior to commencing postdoctoral research fellowship, Asif worked as Assistant Professor in Department of Comemrce,Bahauddin Zakariya University, (Multan) Pakistan. He teaches Marketing management, Entrepreneruship, Food and Fibre in the E-Landscape and Business Research methods.
