Biography
I am a passionate academic with proven teaching, research, management and leadership experience in multi-disciplinary organisations including a university, ministerial office, non-government organisation (NGO), defence forces and the United Nations (UN). Before migrating to Australia, I served as a commissioned officer in the Bangladesh Army and as the Deputy Chief Military Personnel Officer at the United Nations (UN) Peace Keeping Mission. As a passionate academic I contribute to the Australian higher education sector through teaching, research, supervising research students and building engagement with strategic stakeholder organisations. I believe in and stand for responsibility, collaboration, creative thinking and diversity. I am currently working as a casual academic (Lecturer and tutor) at the CQUniversity Australia’s School of Business and Law in the areas of management and human resources management. I consider myself as a facilitator to enable students to learn new things. I am accomplished in educating students from diverse cultural background using face-to-face and blended modes of delivery.
