Biography
I was born in Brisbane and raised in Darwin. I did a BSc at the (now) Charles Darwin University, honours down at the University of Melbourne, and a PhD also at Charles Darwin University for which I was awarded the Australian Institute of Physics' Bragg Gold Medal. I then postdoc'd at Kansas State University (USA) before joining the faculty at San Diego State University (USA) for 6 years. I was awarded a 2010 ARC Future Fellowship to move my computational physics research to UQ to continue my explorations on the quantum mechanics of atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) systems.
