Biography
Mike Danaher has been teaching at CQU since 1992 in the disciplines of Japanese language, history and geography. Mike is the coordinator of a number of History and Geography courses. Mike's PhD was undertaken through Griffith University and is in the field of Japanese environmental politics. Mike's primary area of research is environmental politics with an emphasis on environmental NGOs. He had an article published on the politics of Japanese whaling in Pacfica Review. He is also the author of Environmental Politics in Japan: The case of wildlife preservation, published by VDM Verlag in 2008.
