Biography
I have been involved in Higher Education since 1988 when I was employed as a casual Education academic after a period of Physical Education teaching for Education Queensland in Brisbane and Bundaberg. I have held various management positions at the university before taking up the role of Head of School in 2010 and Dean of School in 2011. I am a life member of the Bundaberg YMCA where I supported the establishment of the organisation in Bundaberg in 1988, and coordinated the health and fitness program until the late 1990s. I am currently a Board director for IMPACT: Make Your Mark, a large training organisation in Bundaberg that provides training and employment for disadvantaged adults and youth.
