Biography
James' group uses nanotechnology, the material sciences and chemical approaches to overcome pressing issues in two main areas, namely 1) Infection Control and 2) The Environment. A key focus to the research is the need to understand why biological organisms stick to surfaces and more specifically, in preventing this happening. James has managed projects spanning across numerous industries, technologies and requirements – with experience in antimicrobial and nanofunctionalised biomaterials in the environment and human health for infection control.
