Biography
Dr Janni Leung (PhD, epidemiology) is a Research Fellow at the Policy and Epidemiology Group, Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research. Her office is located at The Park Centre for Mental Health, Wacol. She is with School of Public Health, The University of Queensland and Affiliate Academic at The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, University of New South Wales and Assistant Professor at Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, University of Washington. Janni has qualifications in public health, sociology, and psychology. In addition, she has strong research and teaching experience in epidemiology and biostatistics. She is experienced in supervising students from a variety of background and currently has a topic available for a motivated student interested in substance use research. Janni's current research interest is epidemiology and disease burden associated with substance use disorders across the globe.
