Biography
My name is Jennie Barr. I am the Deputy Dean of Research in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. I am passionate about research, capacity building and knowledge transfer into workforce and practice. Whilst I am a nurse and midwife I engage in multi-disciplined research knowing that health care professionals do not work in isolation. I also believe in the synergy of many and encourage cross-institutional collaboration. Currently working with industry and overseas partners workforce development which includes capacity building and mentoring is a primary focus.
