Biography
Julie is a Lecturer at the School of Public Health, The University of Queensland with a background in clinical and community psychology. Julie's key research interests include initiatives that provide concurrent benefits for human and ecosystem health (the field of EcoHealth) and approaches to enhancing health for vulnerable and disadvantaged population groups. Her peer reviewed publications have considered the public health outcomes of urban nature, activities of community-based health and environmental organisations, and supporting disadvantaged population groups including people with chronic disease and intellectual disability.
