Biography
I am an early career researcher and lecture into the Department of Transport, Emergency and Safety Sciences, within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences. Previous roles in health and safety were held within the mining, government, education and creative industries. Research activity has focused primarily on the design of control room systems within the aviation, railways and power generation and distribution industries. However, other research interests include: human factors in safety, learning and teaching scholarship and communities of practice. I have had the pleasure of presenting my research at a number of international conferences across Europe, the UK, and Australia.
