Biography
Richard Bradbury began his career working in small regional diagnostic pathology laboratories in Western Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. He completed his diagnostic pathology career as a Senior Medical Scientist in Microbiology at the Royal Hobart Hospital. Richard undertook his PhD in Pathology (Microbiology) from the University of Tasmania part time whilst working at the Royal Hobart Hospital. He became a Lecturer in Medical Microbiology at the UTAS School of Medicine in 2009, shortly prior to completion. At this time he began undertaking research and capacity building projects in East Timor, Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. He has previoulsy been a guest lecturer in parasitology for the James Cook University Master in Public Health degree.
