Biography
Associate Professor Susan Kinnear is currently the Dean of Graduate Studies, and well as a Senior Research Fellow within the Centre for Tourism and Regional Opportunities. Her research background is in regional development, with expertise in regional innovation, regional business, regional policy, collaborative platforms and (environmental) sustainability issues. Susan a member of the Regional Studies Association (International), and was lead editor for book project 'Regional Advantage and Innovation' (2012, Springer, Germany). Susan has successfully secured and managed contract research projects for clients across industry; local, state and federal government; and the tertiary sector; and supervises masters and doctoral-level students across a range of discipline areas.
