Biography
Wendy has extensive experience in Science education. She has held a number of positions in this area. She has worked at Macquarie University as a research assistant in an industry-led project, and has tutored undergraduate students in Plant Structure and Function in the School of Biological Sciences. She has extensive experience teaching secondary science and mathematics in Queensland schools. Wendy has held several district, regional and state-wide leadership positions in Queensland schools in the areas of curriculum development, and the pedagogical use of Information and Communications Technologies for learning. She has taught in web-based education at the University of Southern Queensland, and web-based and internal education at CQUniversity.
