Biography

Currently working as Associate Professor at The University of Sydney, Western Avenue, Sydney New South Wales 2006. First working as a research assistant and then as a PhD student at North Shore Heart Research Group, Dr Hamilton was awarded her PhD in 2011. She holds the position of Laboratory Manager/Scientist. Her experience in cellular physiology is invaluable. She has established protocols for the isolation cardiac myocytes used in molecular and cellular electrophysiology experiments and has extensive experience in practical aspects of the whole cell patch clamp technique.
