Biography
Dr Kim was appointed as the Director of the Nepean Telehealth Technology Centre (NTTC) - multi-disciplinary centre established to innovate in Telehealth technologies via partnership between the Nepean Hospital and the institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology (BMET), University of Sydney. Nepean Hospital received a $2 million dollar grant over 4 years to implement Telehealth. The objective of the NTTC is to develop, evaluate and implement best practice Telehealth Technology in the Nepean and Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) and surrounding areas of Mid and Western New South Wales (including Blue Mountains Hospital, Lithgow Hospital, Springwood Hospital and Hawkesbury Hospital). We aim to allow access to equal quality of healthcare to all patients, regardless of their geographical location.
