Biography
He has served on the board of directors of the Georgia chapters of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Diabetes Association (ADA), and the Georgia diabetes camps. He is a past president of the ADA Georgia Affiliate, editor of the ADA’s 2004 edition of Medical Management of Type 1 Diabetes, and a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.
