Biography
Dr. Braunstein is a member of a number of societies, including the Endocrine Society, the American Thyroid Association, the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the Association of American Physicians. He is a past Chair of the Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and currently serves as Special Advisor to that organization. Dr. Braunstein also served as Chair of the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Subspecialty Boards for the American Board of Internal Medicine. The recipient of numerous awards and was named "Top Endocrinologist" by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
