Biography
Professor Danne’s research interests include basic and clinical research in pediatric diabetes with a focus on new insulins, glucose sensors and insulin pumps. He has various society affiliations, including President of International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD), is a member of the Consultative Section for Childhood and Adolescent Diabetes (CSCAD) of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Speaker of the German Working Group for Pediatric Diabetology (AGPD) and past Conference President of the German Diabetes Association (DDG).
