Steve Gostlow

Biography

 Steve Gostlow joined Toxfree in April 2002 initially responsible for Toxfree’s North West Operations in Port Hedland in the capacity of North West Regional Manager.  At this time Steve was responsible for the development of Toxfree Pilbara Resource Recovery Centre located in Karratha and the development of Toxfree’s total waste management services to the resource sector in the Pilbara region. In February 2004, Steve was appointed State Manager, Western Australia and in January 2005 Steve was appointed Managing Director.  Since this time Steve has overseen the development of Toxfree from the company’s initial two sites in Western Australia employing 20 people to Toxfree’s current operations incorporating over 80 business units across Australia employing in excess of 1600 people and generating revenues in excess of $400 million. Steve is a qualified Environmental Scientist with over 17 years’ experience in the waste management industry. He has a background in waste treatment, waste technologies and regulatory compliance. Previous to Toxfree Steve was employed by the Western Australian State Environmental Protection Agency within the waste management and compliance sections.
