Struan Robertson

Biography

 Struan Robertson worked as an Auditor / Management Consultant for Coopers & Lybrand before starting his own firm of Management Consultants. He later joined Stanford Research Institute as Regional Representative for S.E.Asia, Australia and New Zealand responsible for projects involving major International Financial Institutions and Mining Companies. After leaving SRI International, Struan founded Coal Oil and Gas US Inc., to develop oil and gas leases in Colorado and Utah as well as developing a technology to recover oil from the vast Colorado shale oil deposits. After being bought out of COG USA Mr. Robertson returned to Australia and founded, patented and commercialized the technology for Coal and Carbon Industries Ltd. producing high grade metallurgical char and activated carbons from brown coal. The company was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1987. Struan was bought out of CCI in 2002. In 2003 Struan founded, commercialised and patented the technology for what is now known as Tox Free Solutions Limited ( TFSL ) an ASX listed company with a market cap in January 2014 in excess of A$450M. TFSL is Australia’s largest processor of hazardous waste and is also a service provider to Industry. Struan and his team are now commercialising the TOX technology in Canada and S E Asia aiming at listing ToxFree Singapore Limited ( TFSG ) which is projected to be operational in 2014. TFSG would hold all the rights for the TOX technology in S E Asia/Australasia.
