Biography
Michael Dudley has over 35 years of executive management, operations, and sales and marketing experience in the medical industry. He began his career as a cancer research associate at Harvard Medical School conducting immunology and biochemistry research in Dr. Edgar C. Henshaw's lab in the field of tumor-associated blocking factors in breast cancer. Transitioning to the burgeoning medical device field, he held executive level positions with industry leaders such as Abbott Diagnostics (Division of Abbott Labs), Imed Corp., Spacelabs Medical, Smith & Nephew, Surgical Dynamics (division of TYCO) and Onux Medical (sold to CR Bard). Michael’s expertise is in assessing business opportunities, defining and executing business strategies, building supporting management, sales and marketing infrastructure, managing execution of the business plan and bringing products through the regulatory process all the way to commercialization and exit. He has consistently built businesses that achieve double-digit growth and market-share, working in highly competitive, established markets against industry leaders. Michael is also co-founder of Artemes Technologies, Inc., a start-up drug delivery technology company. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Immunology from Kent State University, Kent OH.
