Biography
Peter Knowles was appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director in 2004. He is a professional Director who has over 36 years experience as an executive in the resources, agribusiness and chemical industries. He has held senior management positions within RioTinto and Wesfarmers Limited, culminating in his appointment as Managing Director of Wesfarmers CSBP Limited in 1994. He retired from that organisation in 2001 and spent the next seven years providing consulting services, predominantly to Rio Tinto.
