Biography
Garry has served as our Head of Engineering since April 2002 and as Vice President of Operations since September 1, 2006 and Vice President, Technology Development since April 2013. Prior to joining Universal Biosensors Pty Ltd, Garry was a senior engineer with MediSense (UK), one of the first biotechnology companies to produce mass market biosensors. In 1991, Garry relocated to Australia to join Memtec Limited, a company involved in the operation, design and installation, filtration and separation of products for water supply and waste water recycling plants, to work on sensor technologies. From 1999 to 2001, he was part of a core team based in the United States that developed the glucose sensor technology.
