Biography
Dr Rumbold is a perinatal epidemiologist and currently holds a Career Development Fellowship from the National Health and Medical Research Council. Her primary research interests are in the determinants and outcomes of reproductive and perinatal health inequality. This includes a focus on subfertility and poor perinatal outcomes among vulnerable populations, and understanding the impact of early life adversity on the long-term health of children. In the past decade much of her research has been undertaken collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
