Angus Simpson

Biography

Professor, School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering, The University of Adelaide, Australia. He completed his Ph.D. in 1986 at the University of Michigan on the topic of the transient analysis in pipelines involving column separation. His other degrees are: Master of Science in Hydrology and Water Resources (1978-1980) from Colorado State University, Colorado; Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (1971- 1974) from Monash University, Department of Civil Engineering. He has worked for 6 years in industry with Melbourne Water, Victoria, Australia and Harza Engineering Company in Chicago, USA.
