Biography
In my first project, I performed a combined analysis of 4 effective Higgs portal dark matter models. After scanning the model parameter space and using the experimental exclusion limits available at the time, allowed regions of the model were found. The results indicated that these models will either be excluded or tested in the coming years. In my second project, I looked at the possibility of the scalar Higgs portal model to explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the Universe. The phenomenological implications of the model at colliders and direct DM search experiments were also investigated. It was found that the model could not simultaneously explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry and the observed dark matter abundance. Currently, I'm involved in two separate projects. Specifically, I'm working with the GAMBIT collaboration to perform a global fit of the effective Higgs portal models (i.e., the models studied in my first project) using the recently released GAMBIT software. My second project is based on performing the parameter space scans of an Ultra-Violet (UV) complete fermion Higgs portal model - a model that can explain both the matter-antimatter asymmetry and the observed dark matter abundance.
